I feel like a bad person

But I'm tired of people I know who don't consistently vote democrat, complaining about loosing their healthcare.

The Independents and never trump republicans on my Facebook page are up in arms about the trump healthcare bill. I'm finding it hard to have sympathy. I've only voted for one Independent in my life and he was a personal friend. Otherwise I've always voted Dem. Healthcare access was always a top issue for me, even though most of my life I've had very good health insurance. But it's still an issue I feel very strongly about because my step father died when he was turned away from a hospital because his health insurance wasn't adequate enough.

I've always known the Democratic Party was the only party that supported, fought for and delivered on healthcare.

These people vote against their own interests and aren't even considering the interests of others. The ones that voted for President Obama and then Trump are the ones I can't figure out. And those that didn't know ACA and Obamacare are the same thing are ridiculous. I can't really sympathize with idiots.

And enlist them in the army of people calling the Senate to demand keeping all the good parts of the ACA, or even moving to Medicare for All.

There's definitely a large group of people who deal with their own insecurities by mocking others that advocate for policies reflective of human decency as "bleeding hearts" or "snowflakes" or whatever. Then they're surprised when the horse they hitch their wagon to is full of spite, greed, and evil.

You lose your healthcare. You loose the hounds.
