Every couple of years, a DUer starts a thread just like this one. There are usually dozens of Viet Nam Vets who check in. Let's hope they see and respond to your OP. I'll kick this again in a couple of hours. BTW I was a civilian during the war years.

Did not serve in Indochina (say Indochina because friends of mine ended up illegally across borders from Vietnam)- USAF 1969-1975.
