Why don't the Republicans want to get to the bottom of the Russian connection? It's probably not about what they know. More likely, it is about what they are afraid they will find out? They do not trust Donald Trump but they are willing to cover for Putin and Russia if it protects the Republican Party.
It's pathetic and pitiful that a political Party would act in such a traitorous manner. Everything is being covered up. It appears they are biding their time until they can get a "scandal" on the Democrats so they can recruit the media into a great diversion?
From the hearing today, we should be able to ascertain the strategy of the Republican Party and how far they are willing to go to cover up for Donald J Trump?

(16,076 posts)Perhaps because their leadership is more involved then anyone realizes! Did McConnell and Ryan receive campaign contributions that could possibly be traced back to Russian friends of Putin?
Maybe Sessions wasn't the only Republican member of Congress that met with Russian intermediaries, perhaps that's why Sessions was confirmed even after he was caught lying during his confirmation hearings? Could it be that certain Republicans in Congress were already on Putin's payola list?
My suspicion is that more then just Trump and Pence are owned by the Russians!!!
