The Clinton email "scandal" was about Clinton and her team setting up an un-secured email server that, apparently, held a few classified (or sensitive) emails... but no evidence that anyone hacked that email server or found those sensitive emails.

What Flynn and the rest of the Trump gang did was, potentially, actively work on behalf of the Russian government to either pay back previous loans or investments, or in exchange for influencing our election for the benefit of Trump, or for future payoffs in the form of stock in Russia's Oil Company and lucrative contracts for the Sec State's previous company.

Clinton could be classified as clueless or careless.

Trump and his team actions are likely to be classified as traitorous.
