We need Yates on SCOTUS. Far more honest and smarter than Gorsuch. Strong and brilliant.

Yes, a woman who is fearless of the chauvinist and smarter than most of them. Next Dem President must nominate her. Hold on for 2020 Ruth!

1. Yes but first she needs experience

... as a federal judge.

Get her on the bench first, let her learn the ropes. She's smart and fearless, and I admire her a lot.
She's already indicated that she has no interest in the political arena, and I don't blame her.

Go Sally!

...but nobody ever goes straight from prosecutor to SCOTUS.

There are steps along the way and she's got the time.

5. There are NO qualifications for becoming Justice on SCOTUS. None. Yates would be PERFECT

as the next Justice. Period.

SCOTUS nominees don't even have to be a lawyer!

We'll need to give Trumputin - if he's not impeached and removed - or Pence the BOOT in 2020 and take back the Senate in order to nominate Sally Yates.

And she's shown she respects the Constitution and the law.

So let's not discount her so easily on made up qualifications, shall we?

10. I'd rather see Obama appointed as the next SC judge. Period.

I'm not participating in the cat-fight any more.

Yes Sally Yates would be great, but she's not my first choice.

Thanks for playing!

11. I meant no disrespect, but before you go, know that President Obama shouldn't be holed-up

on SCOTUS.

His past as a community organizer and the connections he's made throughout his political career can get the funding we need in order to organize against GOP theft of our elections, which is, I believe, far more important than putting him on a lifetime "shelf" on SCOTUS.

In fact that's #45's attack-line: "Sally Yates is a partisan Democratic Party operative, appointed by Obama, who...etc."

9. I agree with you. Sally Yates will make an effective and conscientious Justice--and it's why Repubs

will vote against her with all their might. She won't be friendly toward corporations and rich people as their picks are.

It's also more reason for us to win back the WH and the Senate. Since McConnell killed the filibuster on SCOTUS nominees, Dems will be able to get anyone they want on SCOTUS with just a majority vote.

More reason why we must win back the WH and Senate and stop the infestation of corporate stooges of our highest court.
