Georgia Republican enraged at court order making it easier for people to vote

A federal judge on Thursday ordered Georgia to reopen voter registration before the June run-off for the open House seat in the sixth district, a move that will allow more eligible citizens to participate in the election.

On Monday, Republican candidate Karen Handel told her supporters that the “partisan” decision will “boil your blood.”

Someone help me understand why encouraging democracy is something republicans hate.
I truly want to understand this. Do any of them believe in democracy?

is about "one of us". She says Jon Ossoff isn't "one of us". Yep, that's it. I know because I'm in Georgia 6, which contains some of the most diverse communities in the country.

We have a cancer in our society: republicans, Koch, and these organizations listed in the clip are the leading sickness.
They really do have something wrong with them.

We need to start countering these voter suppression tactics as un-American.

The term undemocratic automatically implies something is pro-Republican to a lot of people. The terms un-American or unpatriotic or unconstitutional are better ones to use in our messaging.

No.

They have revealed themselves to be Nazis at heart.

They do not want any sort of democracy.

They want the 4th Reich.

No. Not the kind of democracy that means anything. Not the kind that encourages voting by making it easy to vote.
