Bunch of teenagers here were marveling over their friends' newly acquired gun.

I climbed the back side of my stairs to avoid the group (heavy bushes, they didn't see me). I wouldn't have done it except that when I first passed by those kids the one with the gun followed me trying to get my opinion on it. I pretended like I didn't hear / understand (they used thick slang).
