Does the FBI director need to be approved by Congress? (Original Post)

FBI Director is nominated by the President, appears at a Judiciary Committee hearing and gets a full Senate vote.

However, as you can see, they can be removed. I do not know if the removal needs approval. If not, the 10 year term would be kind of meaningless.
