1. It was for 5 minutes.. Then comey was making too much

headway in his investigation on the trump Russian collusion.

2. I don't think anyone really liked Comey. He's an complete enigma.

I never saw him either as a white hat (acting only for the greater cause of justice) or a black hat (trying to actively sabatoge Hillary Clinton). I wasn't sure if he was trying to do the right thing but inevitably dug himself into a deeper hole. Or he was a weak head who couldn't control some of his underlyings. Or just incompetent. Honestly, I have no clue but his story was written different ways by different people.

Democrats were angry about the timing of his release of the letter in October as well as his ad libbed commenting in June. Republicans were angry that he didn't indict Hillary. So he never really had a whole lot of love from either side of the aisle.

But his testimony in Congress indicated he was in fact investigating Donald Trump and his associates relationship with Russia, and that should have made him untouchable so long as the investigation was going on. But Donald Trump didn't really care.

And Donald Trump sees no value in anyone other than for his own personal benefit. He's a man without a sliver of a soul.

3. Comey was appointed by Obama.

Trump wants "his" people in all positions. I really think he is paranoid about that kind of stuff.
