Could State Attorneys General Investigate Trump?

For the Legal Beagles out there, could the Attorneys General of states like NY, CA, CT, Mass, MD, etc. all pool their resources and investigate Trump's crimes? Do they have the legal standing to do so?

Further they cannot compel federal officials to produce any documents. They have really serious limitations in their powers when it comes to the federal government.

The cases, thus far, in which Grand Juries have been impaneled &/or handed down sealed indictments, are all shown as Diversity Jurisdiction-


There are 2 types of "little" (state) RICO cases --
Civil & Criminal

So, while certain types of cases may be federal jurisdiction only....
Both state and federal courts have RICO jurisdiction.

issues before he became president. If anyone can take him down, that isn't at a federal level, it's him.
