Who is the leader of the Democratic Party?

Lindsay Graham said he wasn't that concerned about the Comey firing, and that it's different from Nixon firing Cox in that back then, the Democratic Leader wasn't calling for Cox to be fired, like now. The Dem Leader has called for Comey to be fired.

I'm not sure Schumer, the Senate Minority Leader is seen as the "leader of the party".

I wasn't aware that Schumer called for Comey to be fired. He was critical of Comey, but I don't think he called for him to be replaced.

I don't know if he made that up or if he heard it somewhere, but I'm sure we will be hearing it again and again as they try to downplay the analogy.

They would include: Schumer, Perez, Pelosi, many Senators, Governors, Congressmen and many many former officials led by President Obama.

Here, the Democratic leader now that he is referring to is Schumer, who may have called in the past for Comey's firing - I do not remember that.

called for Comey to be fired. I'm thinking he must have been referring to Schumer. But I don't recall Schumer wanting Comey to be fired.
