Serious question about Orange Foolius's beaver pelt headgear

We've made fun of his orange beaver pelt hairdo a lot. But recently I notice in pictures that his hair is all white, not orange. Are MSM whitewashing his hair like they whitewash everything else or did he turn totally grey/white in less than 100 days?

Okay, we all know that all presidents turn grey. It's partly a side effect of the job and partly that presidents are generally of the age when that happens. Obama got salt-and-peppery. They all do, but usually gradually. But with Orange Foolius it seems to be awfully fast, almost sudden. Is he like those apocryphal characters who get locked in a dungeon with rabid rats and sabre tooth tigers and turn grey overnight from fright? Is he dreaming of rabid rats bearing subpoenas and saber tooth tigers with FBI badges? His escalating irrationality and temper tantrums could well be an effect of fear-induced brain freeze.

1. He hasn't got around to freshening the dye job.

Fake blonde washes out and fades over time. Sometimes it turns even greenish before fading altogether. I think we'll see it return to its usual neon-urine yellow before long.

2. It used to be orange because he was

dyeing it himself. Not sure what product he might have been using, but I can't imagine any self-respecting hair colorist would have gone along with that shade.

It probably was some temporary color that has faded or washed out, and we're seeing his natural white hair.

For what it's worth, hair cannot actually turn white overnight, although what can happen is that all of the hair that still has color all falls out at once, and what's left are the gray or white hairs. Really, the hairs that are actually pigmented can't drop the pigment from the hair shaft once it's grown out from the scalp. When a person is in the process of going gray, you can see hairs that are partially colored and the rest, the part closer to the scalp, is gray or white. I certainly saw plenty of those in years past.

I wonder though.... If it is a weave, are the woven "hairs" blond? Maybe just the roots are white, at least that is how it looks now. I've seen pictures of him with white in front of his ears.
