GOP/Trump In Position To Game Census.

Based on the fact that the Director of the Census Bureau resigned Trump & GOP in a position to hack the next census according to an article on Slate. The agency is starving for funds and Trump and company appear to want to add a question asking about current citizenship or immigration status to the survey.

Such hacking could effect the future elections and representation.

1. As a genealogy researcher

I would like to see place of birth and parents place of birth included in the census. Admitted self-interest. I don't think it would be appropriate or safe to include citizenship or immigration status. The public is unable to see the census for 71 years. I could be wrong -- may be 75 years. I certainly won't be here to use the 2020 census, but I'm sure future researchers would appreciate the info.

3. This isn't about the 'public' this is about insiders gaming the system.

They will use the information, not for census purposes, but for nefarious dealings, whatever they may be!
