14. Please remember that NC is pretty much a Purple state....

Obama carried our state in 2008...Romney eked out a 2% win in 2012...Trump had 50.5% of the vote

Our State House and Senate had been solidly Democratic from the Civil War to 2010...We lost it to the Tea Baggers and then things got gerrymandered so that we will have to struggle to get it back.

Democrats in NC will absolutely bring up this fact in future elections....We will call out the hypocrites and place blame out those that worked with Trump.
