The Mad President Unhinged!

I know this may be an unpleasant exercise, but try to project yourself into the mind of the Mad President right now. What must it be like to be him? Think about it. Begin with the fact that the Mad President lost and KNOWS that he lost the popular vote. Realize that his lack of popular legitimacy has been gnawing away at him like a slow growing cancer. Then comes Comey's own public admission, that Comey's malfeasance (or hobsons' choice to use Comey's own self-characterization) helped elect the Mad President - together with Comey's revelation that he was mildly nauseated at the very thought that it did so. Add in the enduring and inescapable fact that Russian interference, whether or not the Mad President cooperated with the Russkies keeps proving to be the evil spot that can't be washed away. Think Mad President as Lady Macbeth. The Mad President is haunted at all hours, awake or asleep, that the stain will be permanent, that it is the only story that history will tell about his presidency, that the little jealous men and women who are his enemies and would demonize him may have the last laugh. And all because of that Comey.

And that's even without presuming that he cooperated with the Russkies. Suppose he did, though. And suppose he sees the FBI and the CIA hot on the trail of his secret treason. What will history say? What will even his most ardent supporters say once the treason is exposed? Once he is reveal as the highest placed traitor in American history. His deepest fear is that the stain will be permanent and manifest. That is why plays Lady Macbeth trying with all his power to erase the evil spot. Add to that that if he did indeed cooperate with the Russkies and if this cooperation is exposed he will be rightly regarded by many as the highest placed traitor in all of American History -- which is all he will be known as until the end of the Republic.

Now in his brazen self-absorption, the Mad President had thought that he could get away with it all, that he could somehow bully and charm his way to popular acclaim despite it all. And make no mistake, popular acclaim is what he desires above all. He is a sick, narcissistic fuck. He craves adulation like a coke addict craves his coke, like a chain smoker craves his nictone. He wants to drink it in, suck it in, through every orifice of his being. But it is not just that he craves it. He demands it as his absolute entitlement. With his relentless doggedness to take that away from him, Comey threatened all that. So he had to go. No matter what the cost. Do not think it will stop there. The Mad President is now in an utter crazed inner panic. His elaborately constructed illusory world threatens to crash down around him. What will he do next? Do not restrict your imagination. Let it run wild to your darkest fears, your most depraved fantasies. And know that this is a dangerous time for our country. As dangerous as there has ever been.
