GOP Busy Setting The Stage For Permanent Dominance Russian Style.

The announcement of the new election commission signals that the GOP is serious about making their election wins a permanent part of the country where Democrats and other parties are totally limited. It is not only about stopping GOP opponents from voting at all but controlling who counts the votes and controls the machines in the first place.

The GOP is showing that they will do anything to fix the next election nationally to locally. Look for voter suppression laws and other tactics like we have never seen in the history of the country. Think of all the criminality we have seen world wide and the GOP will try to use those methods.

2018 will be no guarantee because the GOP is crazy with power. It is about the party and not the constituents. This new commission looks more like a Their Reich tactic to install dictatorship by the GOP.

And giving the low smarts of the GOP.... it looks like they may end up with nothing. Treasonous morons.

We always assume that rationality, honesty, and fair play will eventually win the day.

So we keep making the case (to ourselves) that we're on solid ground.

Meanwhile, the GOP keeps getting its way.

but it's very clear that Republicans see half this country as people who need to be utterly defeated (that's us).
It's also clear that they are going for all they can right now while they have the power.
They may very well end up with nothing gained IF it all blows up in their face.
What are the odds of that? I don't know but I'm hopeful.
If not, we are fucked more than any of us can imagine.
