White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Thursday appeared to accuse CNN's Anderson Cooper of sexism for rolling his eyes during an on-air interview with her.
I face sexism a lot of times when I show up for interviews like that, Conway said on Fox & Friends.
The incident came during a Tuesday CNN interview about President Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey. Cooper played clips of Trump praising Comey's comments about his investigation into Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's private email server during campaign stops, including one in Michigan. Conway responded, "You are conflating two things that dont belong together. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I was on your show often last fall, saying we were going to win Michigan and how we were going to do it," prompting Cooper's eye-roll.
Conway suggested it only happened because she is a woman who works for a Republican. Could you imagine ... having a male anchor on the network roll eyes at Hillary Clinton, at somebody a female representative spokeswoman for President Obama or President Bill Clinton? I think not." Conway added that while Clinton is wrong to attribute her election loss to sexism, she actually does face sexism regularly.

(16,288 posts)While it's easy to see how a gay man or lesbian could be sexist to someone of the same orientation I'm not sure that law applies when it comes to a gay man and a woman. It's kind of counterintuitive, like a lot of things she says.

I kinda like "fraudist."
