When THE END is near ...

There is ALWAYS more going on beneath the surface than WE know.

The ACTORS involved, good and evil, understand the consequences once it starts to unravel. They can see the endgame. They don't have to actually WAIT for "The End."

This KNOWLEDGE, whether intuitive, or enforced, creates rapid cascading actions ...

And the next thing WE know, somebody(ies) RESIGNS, "for the good of _____," or "to fight to clear my name," or whatever.

I keep dreaming, that TODAY is the beginning of THAT dream.

(But it is, sadly, probably JUST ANOTHER NORMAL/NOT DAY under 45 ....)

...politics isn't a static enterprise. It's nebulous and dynamic.

It's the political class which is meant to preserve and defend Executive adherence to the law. That check on the presidency can be switched on by an energized and enthusiastic public challenging the legislature into action in the short span of two years.

...Lincoln's words at Gettysburg, affirming the principles expressed in the Declaration of Independence. They aren't just ephemeral ideals. They are immutable truths, no matter who chooses to disregard them. They are made self-evident by our participation in our democracy.
