They told the White House that it does not look good for the President as he would "not be greeted warmly" after the sacking of Comey, which many FBI agents disagreed with.

Hes a showboat, hes grandstander, the FBI has been in turmoil, Trump told Holt. You know that, I know that. Everybody knows that. You take a look at the FBI a year ago, it was in virtual turmoil, less than a year ago. It hasnt recovered from that.
At Thursdays White House press briefing, Sanders defended Trumps decision to breach protocol and discuss the investigation with Comey.
Isnt it inappropriate to ask the FBI director if hes under investigation? ABC correspondent Jon Karl asked.

I dont see that as an issue, Sanders insisted..........................

(20,672 posts)the Donald cancelled his trip to FBI Headquarters? Maybe the Agents there are a bit miffed that their boss was fired?

(12,441 posts)The Trumpster realized he wasn't wanted and that his appearance would not generate cheering FBI staff people. Because he lives inside his own fiction--how Comey had lost the confidence of those around him (false), how the man was not 'right' and was a showboater (laughable), how the Assistant Attorney General--in place for 2 weeks--initiated the firing (false) and how everyone agreed with the decision (obviously a whopper).
This is the beginning of the end for Trump and his arrogant enablers, co-conspirators. Warrants are being issued, sealed indictments are a-waiting, RICO charges are wending through the ether and this whole tattered, disreputable House of Cards is coming down.
Fire Comey?? YUGE mistake, Mr. President. You are an ignorant oaf.
