What do you think Chump's absolute floor is re approval.

But more revealing is the trend. By the end of his presidency, Nixon’s approval rating had tumbled to 24 percent. Significantly, his disapproval rating climbed in direct relation to the fall in his approval rating. When people changed their minds about President Nixon they were skipping ambivalence and going straight to disapproval.

I say thirty or so percent. That is the number of hard core and irredeemable Deplorables. These are the same people who would have believed Hitler when he said the German Army was consolidating its victories in April of 1945.

Quinippiac and Gallup are harsher for him than others.

But I'd say he can't go below 35% in the aggregate.

Gallup is sampling all adults. The former group leans a tad bit more right.

And I agree, if Hitler were running, he would start with at least a 25% base.

Also the same % who would vote for Drumpf even if he shot someone on the street.

Nixon hit 27% just before he resigned; Bush was at 25% during the financial crisis (both numbers are from Gallup, another poll had Bush at 22% when he left office).

as it heads down into Davy Jones' locker.

Nixon didn't have a "news"/propaganda tool like Fox; his numbers would likely have been higher if he did.

Too many agitated yahoos in this country today.

My argument is this. Since he can't stand losing, he will melt down in increasingly strange ways. I think that at some point he could totally lose it in an very embarrassing way...... in public

His hard-core racist base is about a fourth of the country, so once everyone else jumps ship, he'll probably be left with 25% or less.
