Chainsaw-wielding vandals cut down trees at Trump-run golf course

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — President Donald Trump ran up a steep security tab in New York City before taking office in January.

Now, a Bronx golf course operated by the Trump Organization might be in need of a little more protection.

Two men with a chainsaw jumped over an 8-foot-high fence along the 15th hole of Trump Links at Ferry Point in New York and started toppling trees on Tuesday morning, CBS New York reported.

Four trees were taken down, each between 20 and 30 feet tall. The course manager said this isn't the first time it's happened.

Cornelius Hodges, who lives a couple of doors down on Robinson Avenue, has a theory.

"Well, at least you can see the golf course better, you know. It wouldn't block your view. That's the only thing I can understand," he said.

No, they would cut it where it was easiest to manage the saw. This is a Drumpf lie in my humble opinion. Chain saws are very noisy. No one saw them cut down four trees?

I may have mistaken a sand trap for stumps. This doesn't mean I believe a word about anything Trump.

Not in the fairways, obviously, but you would be hard pressed to find a treeless course any where that I have been.

Trees interfere with playing corridors and harm turf growth plus use incredible amounts of water. Pine Valley has removed hundreds if not thousands in the last year with spectacular results.

I prefer to have some cover from shanks and slices coming at me from every direction.

Who waters trees on a golf course? If one wants to play in a desert, one can travel to a desert to play golf.

There's a holdup in the Bronx,
Brooklyn's broken out in fights;
There's a traffic jam in Harlem
That's backed up to Jackson Heights;
There's a Scout troop short a child,
Khrushchev's due at Idlewild ...

Trump has decided to open our national parks to the logging industry (and oil, gas, mining, etc.). Payback's a bitch.

of sacrificing a living organism to combat the living dead. How about spray painting some glof carts or even burning the golf carts. Make the fat bastards of the world, at least take a walk.
