Only time will tell if he drank the kool-aid. It's possible he has every intention of pursuing this in a nonpartisan manner. He stated that Comey was well liked by the rank and file, in opposition to what the WH was pushing. He also stated he would notify the Senate Intel committee if the WH attempted to interfere in the investigation. Sadly, I think if he does his job he will be quickly replaced by someone who will sink the investigation.

3. Yep. I think his threat to resign and that it went public caused Dump to change the story to Holt.

That concession may have mollified him enough to stay.

He should have known better from the start, but he may be safe enough now to really do this job like so many (like Yates) say he can.

Hope I am right and he isn't another tool.

otherwise he never would have written a letter saying how bad Comey was, wasn't doing his job. Then to say today he liked and respected him. He's a lawyer for god's sake it's not like he didn't understand what he was writing. Just b/c Trump wanted him to, I ain't buying it.
