Agent in charge of Richmond FBI office under consideration to be FBI's interim director

The special agent in charge of the FBI's Richmond division is under consideration as the bureau's interim director in the wake of the firing of James Comey.

Adam S. Lee was selected by Comey to lead the Richmond office in January 2014, not long after Comey took office in September 2013. The Richmond office, one of 56 division offices across the country, was the first Comey visited just a few days after his appointment as director.

Prior to Lee's appointment to Richmond, he was the chief of the FBI’s Public Corruption and Civil Rights Section and oversaw the FBI’s global Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and antitrust investigative programs.

He actually sounds like he would be perfect to oversee the Twitler-Russia investigation. That means it will never happen.
