Election Experts Warn That Trump Is Laying The Groundwork To Steal The 2020 Election

Trump is signing an executive order which is designed to justify his false claims of voter fraud, but his executive order has another purpose, and that is to lay the groundwork for stealing the 2020 election.

In a statement Chris Carson, president of the League of Women Voters said:

President Trump’s ‘Election Integrity Commission’ is an unnecessary distraction from the real work to protect against foreign hacking and interference in our electoral process. The real purpose of this effort is to justify President Trumps’ false claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2016 elections.

This effort begins with a deep credibility gap. Commission members’ views on elections are well known and have been discredited as political ideologues with dangerous agendas. This is part of a wider effort to suppress the vote, keep certain politicians in power, and undermine our elections by spreading falsehoods.

Today’s announcement is just another distraction from the real issues, and we expect that any findings or recommendations from this Commission will only be used to make it harder for people to vote in the future.

The White House is attempting to bury this Commission at a time when the nation and Congress are consumed with this administration’s own Russia scandal.

The real problems with our electoral system are the suppressive laws that prevent eligible voters from access to the ballot. False claims of voter fraud have been used to push through more restrictive voting laws including voter ID, proof of citizenship requirements and limiting or reducing early voting opportunities.

This administration is laying the groundwork to usher in widespread discrimination in our systems of voting and manipulate our democracy

How can we vote in a Dem Senate and Congress if our votes don't count due to thuglican voter suppression on steroids this next time around?

Even if tRumputin's impeached or leaves office due to "health" reasons, you still have thuglicans in control of the House and Senate BEFORE the 2018 elections. Personally, I don't trust thuglicans being in control of our voting apparatus, and we know putin will still be there in meddling from russia--he's never stopped per Clint Watts--unless something crazy happens to putin. thuglicans like Yertle and Ryan love voter-suppressing Dems, and they'll stop at nothing to keep their majorities in the House and Senate by voter-suppressing Dems into the pits of hell if they have to and if they CAN. Those asses are drunk with power, and they seem to be on board with the Kleptocracy their crazy orange leader believes in. You see thuglicans seem to want to mostly ignore or drag their feet on the Comey/russiagate investigations.

That before Dems start celebrating about how they're going to "Vote the bums/thuglicans out in 2018," they really have to pay attention to and see what this tRumputin DOJ plans to do to Dems in terms of ramping up their voter-suppression efforts. Hell, if Dems etc. do get out to vote in huge and angry numbers, will our votes be crosschecked, purged and voter ID'd off the voting rolls as they were in MI, WI. and Pa. AGAIN?

tRumputin will give his buddy Vlad power to flex his cyber-hacking, ruskie propaganda, fake news muscles etc. in 2018 and possibly 2020 (Or whoever is president if tRumputin is impeached or leaves the presidency due to "health" issues), because tRumputin/pence and Yertle and other thuglicans are beholden to putin due "alleged" blackmail material, are drunk with power and honor party before country. That's how thuglicans mostly roll.
