is the only viable way to oppose them electorally. The GOP is a lockstep party whose goal is absolute power.
Voting 3rd party and not voting is a sure way to lose ground against a fascist bigot state. After Eisenhower Republican leadership has always resulted in the dismantling of the structure of American democracy, and leaves plot plutocracy in its place. The whole of western society is a plutocracy. It's two greatest powers, the US and Russia, now have fascists at the helm.
We now have to rely upon the plutocracy to make a choice between democracy and fascism. If the plutocracy is mostly sociopaths, then we're fucked because they've given all the guns to the fascists. The only counter to that is dark state warfare where it's the good plutocrats and their spies versus the sociopaths and theirs. The sociopaths have the advantage, because they will murder anybody and pin it on their opposition. And the idiocracy will believe them.
There is still enough of a system to check this in America, but it's life expectancy is less than a decade. The GOP is in control of that mechanism. There is no honor in the GOP Congress. None.
But hey, both sides do it, right?
