In fact, his bizarre behavior provides an effective smokescreen for much of what they are doing. Tax cuts for the 1%-ers, trashing Obamacare, expanding voter suppression, putting women and minorities "in their place", boost in payments to big defense contractors, relieving energy companies from environmental responsibilities, etc, etc. They are making fundamental changes to the structure of governmental and regulatory protections while the buffoonish carnival barker keeps our attention.
