We Seem To Be Going The Wrong Direction On Every Thing. Trump Biggest Sign.

Now that Trump is in office the country seems to be going the wrong direction on every thing. From schools, social programs, the environment, racism labor et al we look like we are going backwards. All the gremlins are out of the bag now. Compared to what we valued in the 70's we are getting no where.

How we ended up with the most destructive Cabinet in our history is mind boggling. There are so many absurd and dangerous ideas floating around unchallenged it is simply frightening.

1. IMHO I'd trace a lot of it back to the 80s-90s when the Democratic Party began to move to the right

After the Dems began to slowly cede many of the issues to the right, there was no organized national opposition.

that should have been a cake walk. Conservatives used to attack moderate Republicans by saying that if voters are given the choice between Democrats and Democrats lite, voters will pick the real Democrat. They were right, the moderate Republicans got wiped out. Thsy went further Right and took over the Government.

years. I'm not surprised by the rise of Trump. Millions felt left out! Then came Trump spreading lies and propaganda to fill that need. Now, we have this F'en mess.
