I think it is a gap comfortably more than 50 points. Nixon, as twisted as he was, was quite intelligent....Trump struggles to freaking read.

Nixon was also a dick, but at least, was an experienced politician, with a world view and at least some grasp of Constitutional issues. Trump had never even been elected dog catcher and suddenly has been catapulted into the Presidency.

Yes he was a dick, and I will never stick up for the guy.
I'd take Nixon over Trump any day, and I never thought I'd say that.
OTOH Trump is a national disgrace that we will NEVER live down.
