This PBS Masterpiece: Charles III is Pretty Wild

I thought it would be a pretty mild prediction of how he might rule but its a full Shakespearian Drama. Wow!

1. Yup, it is.

I tuned in a bit late, not sure what it was, and thought the dialogue sounded oddly Shakespearean for a modern drama. Turns out it was deliberately written that way, and it totally works!

This is nothing short of amazing and very much not what I expected.

6. Just watched it tonight, and it is stunningly good. I was hooked by the blank verse from the get-go

And you're right -- a tragedy in the Shakespearian tradition. Love the BBC and PBS.
