Who can disagree that we need to repeal and replace Obamacare?
Sure we do! With single-payer, or a public option!
Instead of running from the repeal and replace mantra, we simply need to CO-OPT it. This is how the Republicans operate, and we can do the same here.
Let's make REPEAL AND REPLACE a euphemism for the PUBLIC OPTION, and MEDICARE FOR ALL.
After all - that is what the majority of Americans support!
Rant off.

That's how I put "Repeal and Replace" garbage ... don't get rid of something without something already in place to "replace it".
And, with all the screaming about how "deeply flawed" the ACA act is, whatever the Repubs propose to "replace Obamacare" must be PERFECT ... not even an unreasonable person can find something wrong with it. Good luck with that, Repugs ... you and the Romney/Dole/Heritage Foundation/Roberts crowd who gave us the "tax" ...

(15,741 posts)we don't repeal anything, we just enact the public option or single payer.
The argument goes like this:
Oh, you want to repeal and replace, great, lets replace it with Medicare for All.
Oh, you don't want that? Then GTFO.
Anyway, I'm going to give it a try, see what it gets me.
