John Cornyn is on the list for FBI Director

Cornyn is a Texas Senator and wacko far-right. I do not believe that any form of investigation would ever get impartial treatment under John Cornyn.

Another old white guy with white hair, career politician. Wouldn't surprise me if he sold the investigation for favors to benefit Texas.

Even Lindsay Graham, who says Cornyn is a fine man, would be inappropriate because the new FBI Director should not be a political figure.

I wouldn't be surprised if the decision was made already to appoint Cornyn and all the rest of the names mentioned and the interview process is just for optics and is window dressing making it look like a thorough vetting process was undertaken.
