Can we maybe ease off on the "gave secrets to the Russians" drumbeat for a bit?

It comes off as a bit judgmental, to be frank.

Be honest: who among us hasn't handed highly classified information to a hostile foreign power in the literal center of the nation's presidency?

and I inadvertently let slip a top secret Norwegian lutefisk recipe to the Swedish ambassador... So I understand how easy it is for that to happen. The Swedish ambassador was sort of large and menacing.

Russians could use it as pripaganda, shortly after firing Comey are just shameful. Add the fact that he was coughing up classified/sensitive information to them and it sure as hell points tiwards treasonous behaviour. Shame on the GOP. They hVe no moral compass. Its all about the money.

Interesting trivia: you may have seen at least one of the four famous paintings by Jacques-Louis David which Napoleon commissioned to record his and Empress Josephine's coronation. In true Trumpian fashion, Napoleon stiffed David on the payment. It required the intervention of an administration official, the Comte Daru, before the gov't finally paid him, three years late.

Although David did a preliminary drawing showing Napoleon crowning himself (the Pope refused to do so), Napoleon insisted that scene be left out of the final paintings. Fake news ! Sad !

Among other things burned by the Communards in 1871 was the Tuilleries palace, located between the Louvres and the Tuilleries gardens, now occupied by an empty strip on which, ironically enough, Emmanuel Macron gave a rousing speech on his night of his election victory last week:

hmmm...

They shoved me into a bush while I was walking to school at the DeVos Academy of Edukayshun.

But I wasn't President. I just played one in grade school.
