Morning Joe and GOP guest Elise Jordan both just claimed that Trump is "really" a Democrat! This needs to get stomped on immediately, before this becomes something the Republicans adopt to try to distance themselves from the self-inflicted train wreck.

8. Scarborough's been peddling that bullshit meme for almost 2 years. He frames the whole

idiotic argument by saying that Benedict Donald "staged a hostile takeover of the Republican party." No he did not. He began spewing hateful invective and Republicans came running. He might've contributed to Democrats and was pro-choice at some point, but he rapidly jettisoned all of that and embraced the worst, most vile factions of the Republican party. I don't think anybody buys that shit but Scarborough. Maybe that's what he has to do in order to sleep at night, I don't know.
