This morning Senator Sasso was berating #fakepresident in a mealymouthed way. Out of his mouth he spews stuff about how 29% are Democrats and 25% are Republicans and 46% are independents. He hates up the "both sides have normalized lies" lie.

Sorry Sasso, you're lying. The objective facts show that we are fundamentally honest and you know it.

Another one of them started in with #fakepresident is a Democrat.

I will give the fascists this: their both sides do it lie is effective. If a self loathing liberal wants to undermine his or her own causes there is no better way to do that than to propagate the " both sides do it" smear.

We did not nominate #fakepresident. We did not compromise our values by suppressing votes. We do not lie, or normalize lying liars like #fakepresident or Rush Limbaugh or Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell.

No, both sides do not "do it." These people will never recover unless and until they own their own fascist pathology.

. . . . . because wanting universal health care, making sure veterans get taken care of (hell, perish the thought, how about making less veterans?), making sure the banking industry doesn't sack the economy again and wanting human rights and protection for marginalized groups is literally as reprehensible as wanting to defund the infirm, the poor, our seniors, the arts and public services just because.

Wanting great public schools so someone like Trump DOESN'T get elected again truly pales in logic to having literally religious-right Dolores Umbridge in charge of that department.

Wanting peace sucks in comparison to SoS RExxon saber-rattling North Korea.

But hey . . . we're both EQUALLY AS BAD.
