The problem arises when it's revealed that the reason he launched them was because he had a case of explosive diarrhea one morning and was feeling out of sorts.

I know you're being facetious, but the generals won't let Cheeto push the nuke button.
They'll shoot him first.

We have adults running the military, and they are sane and reasonable I believe.

Having the lawful ability to do something is not a defense to abuse of power in the exercise of that ability.

I have a right to drive a car. However, if I drive a couple of guys to a bank in order to rob it, and then drive them away, the problem is not about my lawfully driving the car.

But, I guess this means that McMaster forgot to inventory the saws when he went out onto the end of the plank yesterday.
