He's rich, which means that he must be smart.
He's impolite, which means he's telling the truth.
He's a businessman, not a politician.
It was locker-room talk.
You have to look at the alternative facts.
He's learning.
He has a good team.
The Republicans will keep check on him by surrounding him with advisors.
I have said it many times and will say it here again:
Trump is history. History-books all over the world will cover his political rise, his lies, his incompetence, his scandals. And there is nothing he can do about it. The whole Trump-family is now part of world-history.
History-books will forever remember the unquestioning support the Republicans gave to Trump.
All future US-Presidents, their competence, their demeanor, will be measured against Trump.

(4,492 posts)At 37, I am legally qualified to be POTUS (I was born in NY). I don't want the job.
If I were the powers that be, I would add two requirements to eligibility.
1) Take the US citizenship test and pass it
2) Served in one or more of the following capacities--- elected official (any level) or high ranking military
3) Pass a test proving mental capacity for the job
