MSNBC is ending the top rated The Last Word with Lawrence ODonnell

http://www.showbiz411.com/2017/05/15/msnbc-ending-lawrence-odonnell-the-last-word-show-despite-top-ratings

My NBC sources say that O’Donnell’s tireless criticism of Donald Trump is the cause of the trouble. O’Donnell calls Trump a liar on TV almost ever night. Says my observer: “Phil Griffin fought back Trump’s demands to Comcast chief Steve Burke that O’Donnell get fired for years. But now he’s president and now it’s Andy Lack’s decision and Andy has never run a single promo for O’Donnell and he wants access to Trump for Lester Holt interview and more.”

It can come across as condescension, although I know she is just trying to make herself clear, so I try to look beyond. Yes, it can be tiring.

either online or cable. The major news sources are pretty much propaganda wings of the GOP. No point in pretending. You get moderate conservative chat and ultra RW chat, but nothing moderate or heck even liberal. The actual news tends to have a liberal bias...

Pointed out that I have a lot of great options for news on the net but Lawrence earned my respect so I am tuned to MSNBC during his time slot. I told them I don't need their network, they need people like me more than I need them. If the Last Word isn't welcome there then I don't feel welcome there either. And I also noted how ludicrous it is for them to curry favor with Trump when citizens are running away from him more each day. His pleasure with NBC won't be doing them much good - especially when he "departs" from office.

As for Brian Williams, if he replaces him, I see no reason to ever turn him on. He rode TV news' death spiral to fame and fortune and never tried to save it.

of the law and US.Constitution. No guts, no glory...for Lack to get rid of his 2nd top person, who has both judgment and knowledge.
Lawrence isn't just speaking out as he is allowed under the 1st Amendment, like Fox News, speaking lies, and sucking up. Lawrence calls out the truth! Guts and integrity.
Hey, "LACKs Integrity, " maybe you should ponder the difference...you, the suck up, Lawrence, the one who takes a risk to expose the truth.

This really is a sad day for journalism and the 1st Amendmend.
