How can Rs not start impeachment hearings now? What could the excuse possibly be?

There is no defense at all for asking Comey to stop the Flynn investigation. This is classic obstruction of justice. This is a high crime.

I don't care if it means we get Pence or Hatch or whoever as president. This treason by Trump cannot stand.

The very existence of the USA is now at stake.

They're utterly shameless. They'd call up down and stare at the camera and take offense if anyone challenges them.

Republicans have made the choice of party over country, and those sweet tax cuts are more important to them than a functional government. They aren't going to impeach President Trump, they aren't going to hold him accountable, they aren't even going to investigate him.

That doesn't mean, though, that we shouldn't keep asking each other why the Republicans are doing what they're doing, and I hope the popular media doesn't stop wondering about it.

1- impeaching him would be an embarrassment to them because the Republican party endorsed him

2- As Long As Trump is there all eyes are on him; no one will look too closely at the affairs of anyone in Congress
