I see a movie in the making.
An orange clown who unexpectedly, even to himself, wins the Presidency. A singularly unqualified showboat suddenly becomes the leader of the free world without knowing much about how government works, the different branches, how to get things done, or to have an agenda.
The collusion investigation....the fixation he has on everything HIM...his divorcement from reality, like insisting he had the largest inauguration audience in history, that he won the election in a landslide, that he won the popular vote. Going to interviews about other matters and passing out fliers supporting his position he won in a landslide, or pics showing his inauguration audience was large. Refusing to provide his income tax returns.
The bragging tape of groping women. The odd marriage to Melania. The foul language. Hanging up on the Australian PM. Offending the German P.M. or Prez. Accusing Great Britain of wiretapping him at the behest of Obama. Accusing Obama of wiretapping him. Offending Mexico and Canada. Nuzzling up to Russia. Having a good ol' time meeting with Russians in the Oval Office, barring American media but inviting Russian media. Telling Russians in that meeting a code level top secret.
His bizarre statements and tweets. The appearance of him devolving into madness.
This will be a good movie.
Who could play Trump convincingly? Alec Baldwin is a wonderful actor, but he's too associated with a caricature comedy version.
Trump: I nominate Michael Douglas. A wonderful actor who I think could pull it off.
Pence: ?
Jared Kushner: ?
Ivanka: ?
Bannon: ?
Steve "we will not be questioned!" Miller: ?
I can't guess at the others.
