Isn't the job of Congress to investigate such improprieties? Isn't that what the use of subpoena power is for?! I seem to remember it being used extensively in very recent past over and over again.

(23,295 posts)They will go down with this ship. At least I hope they do. However, they will never turn on Dump. Ever. The frightening thing is that if Dump doesn't go down, they won't either.

(5,292 posts)Comey knows where it is and when the right time to produce it. Ever since the firing, the leaks have been coming out, each one worse than the one before. I bet there is a lot more to come.

(23,295 posts)That Comey wrote lots of memos about his interactions with Dump. He clearly wanted to document the conversations because he thought they'd be important. So, fuck you very much Richard Burr. Bring on the tapes!!!

United States of America, my ass. The GOP robbed us of our democracy. We may never get it back.

(9,291 posts)It's a law enforcement thing. They make notes and date everything.
Hubby is a retired cop and still does this. It's done some wonders over the years. It's the reason why Bannon wanted the opposite, cause they wanted a she said/he said , which goes no where.
I'm again amazed on how dumb trump really is. I guess his private security detail never told the big man how ethical law enforcement works. Ethical, being the word here.
