How things look today if you only watch Fox News

Sean Hannity:

The leakers in the White House are the national security threat.
The media is biased against Trump and producing fake news.
The Washington Post is always wrong and has it in for Trump.
The news focus should be on the investigation into the death of Seth Rich.

Tucker Carlson:

Hillary Clinton is trading favors for money with her new PAC.
The leaks and media attacks on POTUS are the real national security threat.
We should be building a positive relationship with Russia.
Liberals are hysterical, chicken little, boy who cried wolf, deranged over Trump.

Important to remember, they are literally operating in an alternate universe - and millions and millions of Americans live in said universe. They think we are crazy and/or evil for the way we view Trump.

They change channels and see a different reality and can't handle it and change it back to Faux Spews just to return to their right wing views.
It's exhausting to be around people like that. I've un-friended a few people that I went to school with who posted that they LOVED faux spews and so glad that there is a channel for them to learn so much. ugh.

Seems like they are the American version of TASS, or at least the GOP version.

The First Amendment guarantees a free press. It does not guarantee an alternate version of the facts. This disinformation, including the blaspheming of the true and authentic press, is an affront to our Constitution. It has to be stopped. It is a criminal syndicate whose message, at this level, cannot be tolerated. It's sad when it can be suggested, as it was last night on MSNBC, that Republicans are hesitating to impeach Trump because they don't want to offend FOX. That is SICK.

Many, myself included, have been (rightfully) deriding the ridiculous response of Republican congressional people. But the root cause is the massive brainwashing of a huge chunk of people that has taken place over 25 years. To me, more disturbing than the congress republican actions is the running approval rating that after all that has taken place, remains 38-40 percent. That to me is the scariest and most disturbing thing. His approval should be in low 20s but sadly 90 percent of republican voters are sticking with him. We very much underestimated the damage Propaganda the right wing employed on am radio then Fox News then internet / social media the last three decades. These people have been conditioned to accept any lie given them and worse to accept an authoritarian strong man.

I've had heartburn over right wing propaganda for a quarter century now.

Still have clear memory of being at the gym in 1993, with them piping Limbaugh in over the radio. I was just out of college, and could not fathom the appeal of this gasbag grinding away about complete, hateful gibberish.

But, I saw so many people there that I liked, even respected who ate it up with spoons.

I was relatively naive about people, had this romantic notion that we would collectively make the right decision at the ballot box, but by the end of Bills term had come around to knowing how they appeal to the lowest elements of the human spirit.

Then saw how they, with the mainstream media gladly in tow, positively framed a feckless dolt as "a guy you would like to have a beer with" while negatively casting a decent, intelligent and honorable man as an "arrogant liar."

Fact is, it was horrible in the 90s, and gotten worse with time. When he came down that escalator, I told people and posted here, he was the odds on favorite to win the nomination, and while I hoped not, this country was absolutely stupid enough to make him POTUS.
