I am actually envious of how the republicans have a lock on their base

Nothing fazes them.

We'd rip our leaders to shreds if there is even a hint of impropriety... I dont know if it is dislike of the poor minorities or practice of blind faith but couple republicans i know are loyal as ever to Trump and the party..

How do they manage to pull this off???

.. My 'friend' (actually we went to college together .. And somewhere along the way he morphed into a wacko) thinks the whole thing is a setup by Obama holdovers in the administration ..

No wonder then that Ed Munster and McTurtle are shrugging their shoulders at the whole thing. They are SO not worried.

It's all of us. My default setting belief for Trump Supporters/GOP is that they are bigots. They have to prove me wrong.

functions. By nature they are susceptible to GOP rule. Some people are born predisposed for this and the GOP brings it out, supports it and encourages group allegiance/behavior to the GOP rule.

We don't have the equivalent of Fox News, whose sole purpose is to prop up an entire political party.

Of Trump's innocence but that Trump will be our president for 8 years despite the best of evil democrats.
