people who tout "business experience" act as is it's all the same.
but there's a big difference between a ross perot, who genuinely added value, worked cooperatively with others, and managed thousands of people. i think he was completely wrong-headed on his signature issue, and i didn't vote for him, but he probably would have adapted to the demands of the office reasonably well. i think his business experience would have been a plus, after an adjustment period.
benedict donald's business experience, on the other hand, involves building up his image and trading on that to profit from burning his partners and suppliers. he abuses bankruptcy law to burn his creditors, he abuses contract law and the courts to burn his suppliers. it works because there's no shortage of suppliers willing to gamble on a big name. western banks eventually wised up but he just turned to russia.
his idea of management is simply to hire alpha personalities and fire based on profits or lack thereof. he fosters an environment of backstabbing and lying, no wonder his administration is a mess.
