Why is everyone fashioning Pence as a political genius? He is a far right evangelical conservative. He calls his wife "mother ". He will not have a meal with a female staff member without his wife present. This will not go over well...We are better off with Pence.

The "mother" thing isn't that unusual among older people; I've heard it as a slightly ironic term of endearment. My dad sometimes used it that way, with no religious overtones at all.

They are ALL in on it! Manafort chose Pence. McConnell knew about Russia (collusion) as well as Ryan. It is probable that if they just scratched the surface they'd find evidence of illegal activities from MANY that we aren't even aware of and if they dug deep they'd hit the mother load. The problem is that until dems are in control NOTHING will happen to any of these muthers. There are many more involved in this than there were in Watergate when dems were in charge of the proceedings.
