I also saw like a newscast thing. I quickly closed it, so it wouldn't infect my computer. I have no idea what it consisted of.

so I alerted on the posts, then the malicious code engaged and I closed the tab, quit Firefox, and pulled the plug on the modem. I made sure I had no cookies before I checked back in here.

Has anyone detected malware getting on their system?

The hacker used my account and the system kicked me out. I assume the password was not seen by the hacker, but it was good to get a new one.

I think this hacker must be scared!

I followed the article it an anonymous domain in Scottsdale AZ. This matches some agent provocateur activity during the primary, fake news from anonymous domains hosted in AZ.

My number one suspect is the same gang who pushed the Macron hack on Twitter.

We see this type of stuff all the time at my job. No biggie.

On election day I also shot a video of the one that the hackers used on here.

You don't know if your computer is being invaded. I closed the tab, the browser, and pulled the modem power plug out. Then I did a security check. Plus, I have Sophos anti-virus running full time.

Restarting executes the malware on start-up. Scan immediately and quarantining/deleting anything before it executes.

Scanning 5 million files right now just as a precaution. Will take all day to do both drives. TimeMachine is also a real plus, but the scan takes twice as long with the back-up drive.

Kind of like a Catholic going to confessional.

His death is a pretty big price to pay for MY sins. I guess I should at least get to have a clean conscious.
