1. McCain is a good man and attempts to be contentious of what is going on around him.

Here is his problem and why I think he is dangerous. He still believes moderate conservatism is alive in DC. It's not. Extremists have held the power in their party for decades. McCain is a willing participant in that extremism. His fantasy that moderate conservatism is alive in DC doesn't give him a pass on his continued support of those extremist elements.

He has often made me laugh. He has a sense of humor similar to that of my own father.

4. How can a "good man" be "dangerous"? Isn't that the trait of a "bad man"? (P.S. "Good" doesn't pick

He said something like "I'd like to congratulate Mika & Joe. I think it's great he finally found someone who loves him as much as he does."

I'm sure it's not original, but funny none-the-less. He had a couple zingers after that one too.

That John "I'm a hammer and the world's a box of nails" McCain gets kudos for forming full, rational, non foaming at the mouth sentences.

He is a war hero. Undoubtedly.

He signed off on the idea that Sarah Palin would make a great backup president.

Both are true simultaneously.

I have like/don't trust feels about John McCain.
