The firestorm ignited would guarantee impeachment and conviction for obstruction.

He can meet Russians behind closed doors in the White House and pass state secrets. Why would Rosenstein be more important than that?

...is that Trump tells Mr. Rosenstein to fire Meuller and he refuses and resigns.

Then Trump will claim he fired him because he's such a tough guy.

far too impatient and far too impulsive. It will wear on him. I seriously doubt this will just roll along, the investigation, without Trump going nuts. Just his tweets so far today demonstrate it's building up with him ...

Rosenstein set this up in a way that is Donald's downfall. If he fired Rosenstein to get at Mueller it's a clear abuse of power AND obstruction of justice --again, in my non-legal opinion.

That will be the last straw. The Republicans will either have to give in and impeach him, or suffer devastating losses in the next two elections.

he is finally shown the door. if this leads to impeachment it could take a year or two to get there. that is a long time for trump's madness and dumbness to operate in this environment.

...he'll do a Saturday Night Massacre. The question is how many folks at justice will he have to burn through before he finds his Robert Bork.

When that happens, I think even Ryan will be forced to begin impeachment proceedings.

And Trump will wail "proof that I'm the most persecuted". He is demanding to be made a political martyr and my vote is that he will stay until the Senate votes on his conviction. He will make a spectacle of being escorted from the WH by the house sergeant at arms.

and then - he's going to get a 3 hour bock of air time on sinclair radio networks and spew his hate from 9-12 every morning. Or maybe some other public venue...but he sure ain't going to go hide in some condo somewhere. He needs to limelight to breathe and he'll get it on any stage it's available.

What an asshat.

No law enforcement people for sure

As for aides or WH staff, not now no way, they have to perform cover-up duties, and the risk of tell-all or immunity deals is to great
