It's Thursday morning. How are they going to top yesterday's blockbuster news?

We seem to be in an escalating battle in the news media to see who can break the biggest story in the 4PM-5PM hour this week. Yesterday's news about a Special Counsel was huge, but can it be topped by some other story this afternoon?

Short of a resignation announcement by Trump at his afternoon press conference, I'm having trouble coming up with a potential story that would beat Wednesday's revelation.

So, if you have something that would beat that for this afternoon, let's hear your speculation. We can compare notes this evening, once whatever drops shatters new records.

1. Justice moves seem deliberately set for late afternoon, to catch Trump team off-guard

Warrants were executed in the late afternoon. Announcement of Mueller appt was made at 5 PM. Looks like the timing is carefully coordinated.

Keep a close eye on Twitter this week, at 5 PM EDT.

2. What warrants? I need a link.

I've not seen anything about any warrants being served from any reliable news source, so please provide links, if you have them.

ETA: I just did a Google News Search and there are no stories about warrants being served that have anything to do with any of this Trump business. Please link to any information you have, whether it's from legitimate sources or not. Thanks!

I thought this was supposed to have to do with Trump, etc. Anyhow, where are the links, even to that story?

I assume that is just wishful thinking, but I am pretty sure the poster's reference was to that indictment.

I didn't mention indictments, subpoenas or anything else. The claim was that "warrants were served." No such thing took place.

8 highly regimented days of being the constant guest of others, some who he's already insulted... the odds of him getting through this without some sort of tantrum are just about zero. I give him 'til Tuesday and he'll be rolling back and forth on the floor screaming that he hates it here and wants to go back home to Mar-a-Lago away from these people and that fake Pope.

I have no delusions of this jerk ever turning into any sort of tolerable President. I hope this trip becomes a hugely embarrassing disaster of epic proportions. That's my near term dream.

9. How about FISA / 45 intelligence related disclosure to Senate
Thu May 18, 2017, 11:44 AM
May 2017

Last week Deputy AG Rosenstein met with the Senate Intelligence Committee.

There were 2 items of interest which were reported:

1. Rosenstein allegedly indicated that DoJ would not interfere with (hinder) any Russia/TrumpTeam investigations and that he saw no need to appoint a Spec. Prosecutor (Independent Counsel) unless the FBI investigations were to stall.

2. Rosenstein scheduled a full Senate closed meeting for 5-18-17 (today) at 2:30pm.

Over the weekend, much was reported about possible candidates bring interviewed for FBI Director position and
there were also reports regarding the proposed passenger list of Trump aides and family members who would be accompanying him on his 9 day trip to various countries set to begin Friday 5-19-2017.

On 5-17-17, Rosenstein announced the appointment of an Independent Counsel/Special Prosecutor to take over the Russia/Trump Team investigation.

The previously scheduled full Senate meeting for 5-18-17 is still set to take place.

Obviously, whatever Rosenstein shared with the Senate Intelligence Committee last week remains relevant and of sufficient significance in spite of Rosenstein's appointment of a Special Indep. Prosecutor.

Speculation:
Disclosure of FISA acquired intelligence on 45 and a related Grand Jury criminal indictment...likely RICO

Possibly from a GJ under Boente (since he is supposed to be joining Rosenstein)

I turned on CNN. It was their early morning show. (4 am ET)
Christine Roman was talking about how Washington was breathing a sigh of relief over the Special Prosecutor.
She said even Republicans were more relaxed.

I don't know if Flynn refusing subpoena tops the Special Prosecutor. But the sigh of relief was short-lived.

Through dna tests it comes out dipshit donnie is a alien/human hybrid that Alex Jones warned everyone about. Caligula + Hitler + Mussolini + pumpkin + one of the aliens from the Simpson's.

That's about the only thing that could beat out yesterday.

But on the escalating battle of news scoops. About the only thing I can think could beat out yesterday would be if one of them found a shell company link directly between putin and dipshit or his family. In a way I am almost surprised something hasn't turned up like that yet.
