11. Lieberman was NOT a Democrat.

I am hearing this meme on TV. He was NOT a Democrat. He was a lifelong moderate Republican, who, when having trouble with his party, and when Gore was looking to appeal to a broader audience, ran on the ticket with Gore as a Democrat. Americans obviously didn't go for that. Then Lieberman became an Independent.

But make no mistake, Lieberman is a REPUBLICAN at heart, though a moderate one. And a weak individual who would be grateful just to become relevant again. And has NO experience in running or spearheading investigations or an intelligence agency.

The FBI would become dysfunctional under someone like Lieberman. The rank and file would not accept someone as inexperience and unqualified as Lieberman, and Lieberman would make all the novice mistakes you'd expect (a la Trump play acting like a President while giving top coded secrets to our enemies).

Lieberman LOST the Democratic primary so he started his own "party" to get onto the ballot. Republicans tacitly supported him in the CT general election by putting no resources behind their own official candidate.
