1. The radio in my Kia Soul came with three months of SiriusXM.

We never used it.

no screaming, my choice of music is worth a lot to me

4. We tend to listen to a news and traffic station in the car.

We aren't in the car long, normally, so we just keep the radio on WCCO AM 830 all the time.

My car radio is far underutilized. It's permanently stuck at KNX-1070 AM, all news & traffic. Oh, life in LA...

7. When we fly out to CA to visit my parents, the rental

car gets tuned to KNX immediately. Their traffic reports have saved me hours several times. Any time I'm in the car, I want a station on the radio that will inform me of traffic jams, so I can avoid them.

Since I lived in Southern California most of my life, I know effective detours for almost any route I'm travelling.
