We aren't in the car long, normally, so we just keep the radio on WCCO AM 830 all the time.

My car radio is far underutilized. It's permanently stuck at KNX-1070 AM, all news & traffic. Oh, life in LA...

car gets tuned to KNX immediately. Their traffic reports have saved me hours several times. Any time I'm in the car, I want a station on the radio that will inform me of traffic jams, so I can avoid them.

Since I lived in Southern California most of my life, I know effective detours for almost any route I'm travelling.
